Technology

Plasma is a high energy “Fourth State of Matter” that naturally exists throughout the universe.

Inside 4SPT’s reactors - plasma subjects hazardous waste to an ultra-high temperature (>1,350 deg C / 2,460 deg F) and produces no emissions.

As a result, hazardous waste is broken down into its elemental components (carbon, oxygen, nitrogen, sulfur, and metals). The elements then spontaneously recombine into simple, nonhazardous molecules.

The process breaks down all organic matter completely eliminating its biohazardous nature.

The products are either used or disposed of: syngas is combusted, and inert carbon char and slag are sold or sent to landfill.

The system is both capital and operationally efficient due to the simplicity and effectiveness of the technology.

The plasma process is classified as RDF-7 (Refuse-Derived Fuel-7), the highest level of waste conversion, where the combustible waste fraction is utilized as a fuel.
